Terms & usage rights

“RS Media”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to RS Media, a creative studio based in Clare, Ireland, offering photography, videography, and custom websites. “You” means anyone who visits this site, buys a product, or commissions work from us. These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.

Unless a written agreement says otherwise, RS Media owns the copyright in all photography, video, and other content it produces, as well as the text, design, and imagery on this website. Buying a product or commissioning a shoot gives you a licence to use the work as described below — it does not transfer copyright or ownership to you.

Photos and videos shown on this site, in our portfolio, on social media, or shared as previews and proofs remain our property. Preview and proof images are often supplied watermarked. Without our written permission, you may not:

• download, copy, reproduce, or republish the images or video;
• use them for commercial or promotional purposes;
• remove, crop, edit out, or obscure any RS Media watermark or credit; or
• claim authorship, or use them to train or feed any AI or machine learning system.

Sharing a link to a page on this site, or resharing our own social posts through the platform’s built-in tools, is welcome.

When you buy a digital product from RS Media, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it in your own work, including content you post or monetise on your own channels.

You may not:

• resell, redistribute, share, sublicense, or give away the files themselves;
• bundle them into another product, or include them in a template or pack for sale; or
• share your download link or account access with others.

Download links are private and time-limited (they expire a short time after purchase). Because access is granted immediately and the files can be downloaded straight away, digital purchases are non-refundable once the download has been made available, except where a refund is required by law.

When you book a shoot and pay in full, you receive a licence to use the delivered images and video for the purpose agreed for the project (for example, your website, social media, or advertising). Unless we agree otherwise in writing:

• RS Media retains copyright in the work;
• RS Media may display the work in its portfolio and on its own channels (you can ask us in writing to opt out of this);
• the licence is for your own use — you may not resell, sublicense, or pass the files to third parties as their own; and
• raw or unedited files are not included unless specifically agreed.

Where a specific project agreement, quote, or contract sets out different terms, that agreement takes precedence over this section.

For website and related services, you keep ownership of the content, logos, and brand materials you supply to us. Any monthly fee covers services such as hosting, domain renewal, backups, SSL, and small content updates, as described for your package. Third-party components — for example fonts, plugins, or stock assets — remain subject to their own licences.

You agree not to misuse this site or our work, including by misrepresenting who created it, removing watermarks or credits, reselling or redistributing our content, or using it in a way that is unlawful or misleading.

This site and our digital products are provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RS Media is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site, its products, or its content. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Irish or EU consumer law.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page, with the “last updated” date above, is the one that applies.
